It is important to realize that some struggling children have surpassed the stage at which outpatient or minimally secure treatment programs can successfully help them. At this point their needs must be addressed seriously and practically in secure individualized programs.
Residents at these programs live in a secure residential treatment center where counselors are available to them at all times.
Locked Secure Programming
Children referred to secure programs typically have not succeeded in less restrictive settings. Three Springs programs are able to handle many chronic mental health issues while stabilizing behavior and changing dysfunctional thought patterns and implementing positive coping skills.
While Contract Programs are secure, our efforts are focused on reintegrating youth back into society. Our multidisciplinary staff works as a team to individualize treatment for each student.
Sex Offender Programming
Three Springs staff members believe that the balanced approach to therapy utilized in our programs provides for the development of accountability and competency.
Our Contract Programs are designed to develop responsibility, discipline, self-esteem, pro-social values and a healthy work ethic within a structured environment. Within our programs residents are held accountable for their actions while developing skills and personal identities that are motivated toward responsibility and community reintegration rather than a life of isolation.
Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programming
Three Springs has created an experiential program, giving children exposure to high-intensity academic, psychosocial and spiritual development activities. These activities are administered through a multidisciplinary staff under a holistic treatment model. These fully-accredited addiction treatment programs utilize a six stage system requiring the completion of specific tasks essential to healthy development of the whole child. Drug and alcohol treatment is provided through assessment, individual treatment planning, psycho educational sessions, individual and group counseling, and multifamily and individual therapy
