SequelCare of Maine is made up of two divisions which are Behavioral Health and Home Health. Our statewide services are provided out of regional offices located in Bangor, Searsport, and Yarmouth, with satellite offices in Augusta and Rockland.


Behavioral Health Services include:

Children Services:

  • Supporting Opportunities for Addiction Recovery (SOAR)**

*Day treatment is currently provided in K-12 in the Camden school district
**SOAR is a grant funded program available to adolescents between the ages of 12-24 years old in Waldo and Knox County

Outpatient Mental Health Services

The Outpatient Mental Health Division provides individual and family, therapy for all ages in our office located in Belfast. Our staff of licensed providers offers a safe place to express feelings, clarify thinking, problem-solve difficult life decisions, and work toward goals.

  • Behavioral Health Homes

Home Health Division includes:

Home Health Services:

  • Caring for the chronically ill
  • Medically complex pediatric cases
  • Post surgical wound management
  • Personal support services

Child and Family Services

Client Profile:

  • Children or youth up to the age of 21 who have:
    • A mental health diagnosis including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, attachment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
    • A need for intensive and frequent treatment (therapy and skill building)
    • A developmental disability: autism, intellectual disability (MR), Rhett's Syndrome, PDD

Outpatient Mental Health Services

Client Profile:

  • Clients of all ages needing:
    • Outpatient mental health in an office setting for persons needing help with a range of conerns including trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.

Home Health Services

Client Profile:

  • Clients of all ages needing:
    • In-home nursing services
    • Personal care services
    • Homemaker services

Adult Services

Client Profile:

  • Adults 18 and over:
    • A mental health diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder 
    • A need for intensive and frequent treatment 
    • All services are provided by MaineCare
